The cooler temperatures of the past week have me looking ahead (and forward) to
the Fall. September always brings a colorful calm just before the wet weather storm
we call Winter! We have planned two events to celebrate this exciting season, one
old and one new.
REI will be running a Swift Walk on September 17th. Walk with us to Chapman Elementary to view the Vaux Swifts as they fly into the chimney at sunset. Visit www.rei.com for more information.
If you are new to WOW, you might not know about the Sisters Stride into Autumn.
It just so happens to be our most popular destination event. Bask in the beauty of
the Deschutes National Forest on this 10K/15K weekend getaway.

Come welcome Autumn with us, I look foward to seeing you in Sisters.
Email judy@wondersofwalking.com and let me know how you celebrate Fall!
